Hotel Review ｜新竹市去哪都方便 新竹國賓大飯店 - Ambassador Hotel Hsinchu
新竹市這幾年的轉變很快，隨著新竹動物園翻新、玻璃工藝博物館、春室 Studio的開業，舉辦「2020台灣設計展」，處處都可以看到這個城市的活力。這次為了2021年底的「新竹光臨藝術節」，特別選擇鄰近展區、火車站和新竹（麗池）公園的新竹國賓大飯店 Ambassador Hotel Hsinchu。

國賓大飯店品牌最近新聞不少，身為全台灣第一家國際觀光飯店也是集團的起家厝，於1962年創立的台北國賓大飯店 Ambassador Hotel Taipei，已通過「危老改建」將在近期重建，之後會委託日本東京皇宮酒店 Palace Hotel Tokyo 營運。而高雄國賓大飯店Ambassador Hotel Kaohsiung也將步上危老改建，全集團將只剩餐廳和新竹國賓大飯店維持營運。

新竹國賓大飯店位置就在新竹市中心，旁邊附有戶外車位。步行到火車站、新竹公園、城隍廟和巨城大遠百都在15分鐘內。飯店旁的前新光三越百貨前，也有Ubike站點，出入都非常方便。

步入飯店後，迎賓人員立刻前來指引到12樓辦理入住，雖然全飯店有257間客房，也因為電梯數夠多，基本上沒有等電梯的問題。
新竹國賓大飯店入住櫃檯，是一個圓弧的曲面，一側是櫃檯另一邊是往客房的梯廳，基本上住客要出入都會到這個空間，若是服務人員熱情點會好一點，好幾次即使對到眼，都是筆者在點頭，服務人員就默默飄過，反而樓層間的房務人員還比較熱情。

此次安排的1519房，雖是最基礎的豪華客房，但有11.4坪已是我國「國際觀光飯店」房間大小規範的兩倍。房內的大面窗戶，面向新竹火車站的山景，日間非常明亮，泡一杯茶坐在窗邊的沙發上，看著來往的車輛，非常愜意。

床具雖然偏軟，但有不錯的支撐性，晚上看完新竹光臨藝術節倒頭就睡一覺好眠。兩個枕頭不夠的話，衣櫥也有備用的頭枕。
老飯店一樣插座都集中在辦公檯，床頭就沒有充電處。而新竹國賓大飯店作為商務飯店，房內文具就比較稀少，紙製品倒是不缺，明信片、信紙和信封都有。
但還有床頭櫃附設的伸縮桌板，已沒什麼支撐力，差點放在上面的玻璃杯就滑落。

而浴廁也是魔術大空間，乾濕分離配有免治馬桶，在最基礎房還配有獨立的浴缸，筆者看到眼淚都快要掉下來，自從自宅廁所改建後，要泡湯都要到飯店才行。備品部分使用國內品牌「Desire & Passion 天森無患」，不會有強烈的氣味，是個很舒緩的沐浴用品。

由於疫情期間相關泳池、健身房、兒童育樂空間等設備無開放。但也不會沒地方運動和遛小孩，飯店後方有一個民族公園，就有很多運動和兒童設施，整體環境方便。
而筆者很推新竹國賓大飯店一樓的Corner Bakery 63國賓麵包房，國賓麵包口味變化很多，在五星級飯店中價位平價，不會讓您失望。

國賓大飯店自身的會員系統 Welcome Member，在2018年走入歷史後，但仍與日本東急飯店Comfort Member 有合作，而新竹國賓大飯店又是全球獨立酒店集團 Worldhotels Collection，所以仍可以累積部分的常旅客計畫。

但不得不說，除第一線服務人員不熟悉，累積和訂房方式也很特別，跟一般直接向飯店訂房不同，若要累積東急會員，必須填單向日方訂房，才會符合規範。未來也不知道這樣的合作是否會持續，恐要等高雄和台北國賓危老改建後，才會知道了吧！！
